For participants and guests of RAO/CIS Offshore 2017 a travel seminar on board comfortable motor ship will be arranged with a tour to Valaam Island.
Departure of the boat September 15, 2017 at 19:00 from the River Terminal.
Back to St.Petersburg September 17, 2017 about 9:00.
Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation, visited Valaam Island on 11 July 2017. In the 14th century the Valaam Monastery became the center of the Orthodox faith in the North-Western Russia - the mission it continued for almost 700 years.
The Valaam Island is located in the northern part of the Ladoga Lake. Cliffs, quietness of internal lakes, age-old pines and spruces, a modest beauty of light alleys and gardens, a severe magnitude of the northern nature and originality of architectural ensembles give Valaam an inimitable look of one of the most beautiful islands of the world.
The going monastery is found on the island as well as the Savior Transfiguration Cathedral, Peter and Paul Church, a number of cells which are keepers of spiritual values and also beautiful monuments of the Russian architecture.
During anchorage, tours will be arranged to the Savior Transfiguration Valaam Monastery by a river motor boat and a walking tour to "Cells of the Valaam Islands".

The price includes accommodation in the cabin on board, bedding, three meals a day (including a festive dinner on the day of departure and breakfast on the day of arrival). All cabins of the boat have an air-conditioner, bath unit (toilet and shower), wardrobe, and a large view window.
A number of participants at the seminar is limited by a number of cabins on the boat!
An application should be submitted to the RAO/CIS Offshore Secretariat for participation as well as an invoice made should be paid before August 25, 2017.
